Scott McMillin began his journey in the home industry at the age of nineteen when he launched his first home maintenance business. This venture marked the beginning of a lifelong commitment to understanding the complexities of homes and assisting owners in maintaining and improving their properties. Over the years, his passion naturally evolved into property inspections, a field he entered more than eleven years ago under the mentorship of Inspect OC’s founder, Scott Swickard. As Swickard slowly moved toward retirement, McMillin took on the role of owner to take Inspect OC into the future.

Motivated by a desire to advocate for consumers during one of the most significant purchases of their lives, Scott has established himself as a trusted consultant in the real estate community. He is dedicated to ensuring that homebuyers and sellers have the critical information needed to make informed decisions.

Scott’s extensive experience, combined with his commitment to exceptional customer care, reflects his deep understanding of the home inspection process and its vital role in the real estate journey. His expertise not only guides clients through inspections but also empowers them to navigate the complexities of homeownership with confidence.

Joshua Lamb is a dedicated home inspector and a lifelong resident of Southern California, currently residing in Orange, CA, with his wife and two dogs. With a deep-rooted passion for understanding how systems function, he was inspired by his father, a skilled handyman who could repair nearly anything. This early exposure fostered his knowledge of residential systems and their intricacies.

After many years of managing large-scale events and concert productions, Joshua transitioned to the field of property inspections. He completed his training through the American Home Inspector Training (AHIT) program and successfully passed the National Home Inspector Exam. He is also a certified inspector with the California Real Estate Inspector Association (CREIA).

With a commitment to providing thorough and reliable inspections, Joshua is dedicated to helping homeowners make informed decisions about their properties.
